About Elizabeth

Elizabeth spent many years singing opera.

She now brings her powerful vocals to inspire audiences as a singer/song-writer to the glory of God. Elizabeth specializes in producing beautiful Scripture passage memory songs empowering people to EASILY memorize whole paragraphs and chapters of God’s Word. Her deep spiritual insights through her lyrics and devotional talks lead hearts to worship Christ. She is also the author of The Lowly Stable children’s Christmas book that shares a clear gospel message. She lives in Oklahoma and ministers in her home as a kingdom mom/wife, facilitates worship at her home church and serves her community through various gospel outreaches and Christian political engagement.

I chose to release my music under the name Handel Hymn Project in honor of composer George Frederic Handel.

Handel was an opera and orchestral composer. A string of musical failures left him in debt. It seemed that his career was over. It looked like debtor’s prison was in his future. In April of 1741 he gave what seemed to be his final concert. But God had other plans. Handel’s friend Charles Jennens wrote the text for a new choral work combining using Scriptures about Christ as the libretto. Charles handed the lyrics to Handel and on August 22nd 1741 he began work on the greatest piece of music ever composed: The Messiah. He wrote it in 24 days with very little sleep, very little food and weeping tears as he composed. When he completed his manuscript for the Hallelujah Chorus, he told his household servant “I did think I did see all Heaven before me, and the great God Himself seated on His throne, with His company of Angels.” Performances of The Messiah were used as a fundraiser for a foundling hospital and other efforts to assist the poor. Handel was no saint and was an imperfect man, but God anointed Handel’s musical gifts and created a masterpiece through a broken vessel. As a former opera singer I have been privileged to perform The Messiah in the chorus and as a soloist over the years. My favorite line to sing in Handel’s Messiah is “The kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign forever” from the Hallelujah Chorus. This text taken from Revelation 11:15 is the inspiration for my music and the theme behind every song I write. To God be the glory.

The kingdom of the world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for ever and ever. Revelaton 11:15

Behold. Believe. Become.

It has been said that we become what we behold. The Bible instructs us in many places to keep our eyes on God. This is challenging in a world that incessantly clamors for our attention. God invites us to do the impossible: fix our gaze on Him 24/7. Jesus modeled this in His earthly life, always and only doing what He saw the Father doing. Not only was He God, He was constantly in touch with the heart of Father God and He never failed to look to Him. My prayer is that Handel Hymn Project songs help you to behold, believe and become. Behold God on the pages of Scripture and personally encounter Him as you hear His Word proclaimed. Believe, live out and apply the Word, relinquishing all unbelief. Become the light in the darkness as God's Spirit transforms you by the renewing of your mind and fills you with His fullness.

Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29

A New Beginning

We all need a new start in life.  Jesus says that we all must be born again (John 3). Rejecting Christ's free offer of eternal salvation and forgiveness of sin results in death and eternal separation from Him in hell. If you have never begun a heart-to-heart friendship with Jesus Christ, today is your day. If you once prayed a prayer to invite Christ into your life but have drifted away from Him, today is your day. Many people may have a relationship with church, a relationship with Christianity, a relationship with religious belief but that is NOT the same as a true relationship with Jesus Christ. Come to Him now in faith to begin a lifelong adventure in personally KNOWING Jesus, not just knowing facts about Him. Reach out to Him right now and begin again.

Pray: Jesus, You said that I must be born again. I need that new birth right now. I believe You are the Son of God and that You lived a perfect life, died for me on the cross and rose again from the dead. I give my life to You. Take away all the sinful things I have ever thought, said and done. I place You in charge of my life. Give me Your peace and make me new. Help me begin again. Amen.

Please reach out through the contact form if you have prayed this prayer.
